The entire Albatross pool structure is engineered from heavy gauge steel specifically treated with a full 600 grams per m2 of zinc (Z600) and other rust resistant properties to lock out rust and corrosion.  In addition to this, the entire structure is either embedded in concrete, totally under ground or covered by an Aqualux membrane and is therefore, protected from exposure to the air.  The result is a pool not only of unrivalled strength but one which will maintain its beauty and shape without the risk of warping, cracking, splitting, rotting or even popping out of the ground. 

The interior finish is an Aqualux material made from .75 mm virgin commercial vinyl specially formulated with an anti bacterial agent and UV inhibitors.  This makes for an extremely tough finish with virtually no routine maintenance that cannot chip, peel, crack, separate, leech chemicals or blister.  Aqualux is an interior of choice in many of the worlds largest resort pools including Hayman Island and Sanctuary Cove lagoon.
