Compact Plunge Pool Design

Set in a beautifully established garden on Windsor Crescent, this small custom plunge pool was designed to blend seamlessly with the existing landscape while meeting the practical needs of the homeowners. Located in Surrey Hills, this swimming pool project embodies a thoughtful approach to small pool design, delivering a refined result that doesn't overwhelm the space.

Measuring 4.0m x 2.5m with a depth ranging from 1.1m to 1.5m, the plunge pool design features two wide square steps and a 600mm bench seat, all spaced at 270mm increments—designed to the client’s exact specifications. A handrail was also installed to assist with safe and easy entry and exit, without compromising the swim space.

The Caribbean pool colour brings a refreshing vibrancy to the space, pairing beautifully with the classic red brick boundary wall, soft grey tones of the surrounds, and established foliage that frames the garden. The result is a striking balance of traditional and contemporary elements.

Site planning required careful consideration due to protected tree zones along Windsor Crescent and the rebuild of a front brick wall that was used for access. Simon from The Fine Garden Company led the landscape works, delivering elegant hardscaping and thoughtful integration of the new plunge pool into the existing garden layout.
